my phone is DEAD!! damn it! i was busy doing stuff the whole day yesterday until 3am when i decides to check the phone (nokia 7610 btw). however, i cant see any display on it! then i realised my phone is dead. alrights, everything runs well but just the LCD is faulty. i tried fixing it till 4am but still no improvements. in the end i went to bed.
woke up at 8.30am, cant slp la. vexed abt the phone man.. kinda cannot survive without a phone in this century. so i went to nokia centre at causeway after my lunch. waited so long for the queue and i even missed the 1st number when i went out to walk while waiting. after that, got a 2nd number and finally get the counter.
well, the counter guaged a rough amount of $70++ for the repair. decided not to repair first since i can lend a phone from uncle. yes, i went lend Nokia 2100 from him. from a 3rd generation (camera phone) dropped to the 1st generation (colourless and monotone).. retro enough?
then i was tipped by chris about the Singtel promotions. WTF? Sony Ericsson's w850i for only $99 with any Singtel plans? that's way too killer promotion for Singtel man! shall check it out when the stock gonna replenish, and hope dad approve me getting the phone.
once again, cheers for me and the phone downgrade.
